Many outlets have offered opinion of the latest outcry saying women are vastly underrepresented in games today. Although you’ve probably read about it on more credible sites, I wanted to share my thoughts as well. Thanks for reading.
Celebrating what could be the most far-reaching game in a generation, Minecraft-ers converged on Paris last weekend for the annual Minecon. Many rockstar LPers played for adoring crowds of thousands, exemplary as to how the game is so undeniably popular.
Before you read, please know this post contains major spoilers for No Time Left, the fifth episode of Telltale’s The Walking Dead. Play the game first (or watch it on YouTube like I did) and come back!
I’ve written extensively about “Doritosgate” the past couple of weeks, and it’s worth mentioning that same site is under another bit of scrutiny. MCV, who previously employed Lauren Wainwright (according to her Journalisted account, she no longer works there) has shown favouritism in its coverage.
