Sometimes I can sympathize with mainstream press for not understanding video games. The medium isn’t this mystical being only existing in the minds of children, but a little research goes a long way.
Over five years, Ubisoft has delighted fans and historical junkies everywhere, but all good things must come to an end. Assassin’s Creed 3 arrives to finish the popular series, and leaves, quite fantastically, a trail of guards in its wake.
Say the two words “Assassin” and “Creed” and out of every crowd of ten, at least three people will embrace memories of stealthily killing guards on rooftops, influencing history for the greater good, and ultimately, saving the world. (Not based on any scientific study.)
